This article is concerned with describing the Catholic Church’s approach to ecumenism in the broadest sense and the consequences that this entails. The Creed, which is the basis of the religious identification of Catholics, can be subject to transformation and subjectivisation. The implications arising from the content of the documents form the basis of the article: Abu Dhabi Declaration and the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.
