The subject of this paper is the Poimandres, the first book of the Corpus Hermeticum, in which the title character, Poimandres (the Mind of the Supreme God), appears to Hermes Trismegistus, revealing to him the deepest secrets of human nature and human life from the supernatural perspective. The paper analyzes the revelation of Poimandres from the point of view of the religious message contained therein, focusing on its anthropological aspects.
