The vetting of the Jesuit Father Stefan Filipowicz in 2006 and its repercussions

Abstract

Documents of the secret police of the People’s Republic of Poland demand a responsible study, especially when people registered in the regime’s records are vetted on their basis. Tis postulate was not fulflled in the case of the vetting of the Jesuit Stefan Filipowicz, as a result of which he suffered unpleasant consequences. In this contribution, I reveal the circumstances of his vetting.
